Tonight!

Another power of the French music scene, Alex Gopher, along with known stars Etienne de Crécy and both members of the band Air, started off with a pop band named "Orange". Today he holds great tracks combining elements of funk, house, and electronica, as well as his own label Solid.

As a sample here is the work of Sharam Jey over his Belmondo:

And as a bonus, Gopher will be playing tonight at the local club Lux, joining the local portuguese guys from D.I.S.C.O TEXAS and their already famous Titan Thursdays. So maybe tomorrow I can tell you about Mr. Gopher's performance as a Dj :)

When We Come To It

Tim Liken aka Tim Deluxe is a London based DJ and producer. His tracks contemplate a wide range of styles and sounds and one of his biggest hits is the well known track "It Just Won't Do".

Recently out on Skint Records is a new EP with two tracks entitled "When We Come To It" and "Storm In a Teacup" where Deluxe explores the acid and dark sides of house music. Personally I'm already a fan of this one below.. Enjoy :)

Incident

Joris Voorn is a native-born Dutch DJ, music producer and remixer from Schiedam concentrating in Deep House and Techno sounds since 1997. He has just released housy "Dusty House Room 2" available at beatport.

However, I leave here a track from the time when Voorn was making those slamming techno tracks and "Incident" was(is) one of my favourites!

Fake Blood

The mystery man's throbbing bass driven tracks took over dancefloors in 2008 . His mammoth track « Mars » and his string of fine remixes made him one of the most talked about producers of the year .
Everyone was thinking that Fake Blood could only be an alias of a well established producer , judging by the quality of the remix . But it turned out to be just someone new trying to leave a mark ....

« Fix Your Accent » EP ( out since mid august ) , with more awesome and inventive production work !
« I Think I Like It » should turn into an instant classic and « The Dozens » brings back the best of Fake Blood's killer bass and destructive groove !

Teknique

It's out !!!
The man who re-created disco not too long ago just came out with this video for a track from his album , released TODAY , « Ready for the Weekend » . Housey flavoured with some nice synths added to it , nice vocals too .

Santiago & Bushido

Santiago & Bushido have been pushing the electro/house scene forward in the last few years , many hits , some original and some reworks have been coming out constantly . Chris Santiago and Tim Bush are a regular presence in the big parties all over the world .
Released in January (2009) by Potty Mouth Music , «Bounce» is probably one of the most , if not , the most underrated work from this Chicago based duo .
