Very sad news though is that this duo have announced they're splitting up. Only one of them will continue to pilot the 'Aeroplane'. In September their first, and last I guess, full length album We Can't Fly will be out.

Man and Unable (MAU)

MAU is a Portuguese band which is producing some very interesting tunes, that I've recently rediscovered. After their initial hit "Prick (I am)" (hilarious clip)



they continue to succeed in producing great music. This next one, "Toboggan" is without a doubt one of my current favourites!

I just read this article about the Bloody Beetroots and the Death Crew 77. The author of the article is obviously biased and immersed in the Beetroots sound, but nonetheless, I find it a nice piece of reading.

I know I know, he's quite controversial about his music style and dj performances now, but back in the day, boy was he good!

Faithless have recently released the second single of "The Dance" to be released on July 19th called "Tweak Your Nipple", and Tiësto followed with this remix which I think is quite good and very unexpected, but you be the judge.

Journey Of The Dragons

I've been hooked up on this sound for some weeks now and it strikes me every time. Galaxy 2 Galaxy, a live electronic and jazz music collective featuring members of Underground Resistance, released this in 1993!

Domino

They're quite established in the electro scene for now, and certainly need no introduction whatsoever. However, I find both this music and video heart striking! I'm talking about The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 and their "Domino".

Digital 1

A few days ago I recorded my first digital set using the Traktor Pro DJ software (I'm usually a vinyl guy :)). It's far from perfect when it comes to mixing, but I did enjoyed the experience and specially the tracks :)

Danger

I've recently discovered Danger, a French DJ whose music is heavily influenced by 80s synth pop music, video games and soundtracks. In fact, I've been so addicted to his songs that I decided to make this post - my first. His sound is similar in some ways to that of the Valerie collective and some other new French electro artists - some of which are not actually French :) - but I feel Danger is a bit darker and more atmosferic. Enjoy.



The video is one of the submissions to a competition he organized, where participants are supposed to match random videos with his songs.

Deja Vu

This clip reminds me so much of Miami Horror's "Sometimes" brought to us by Cpt. Skarr himself.

Its the video for "Luv Deluxe" from Cinnamon Chasers directed by Saman Keshavarz. Although the song is really cool, the clips' concept seems to overpower it, and the song basically ends up like a great soundtrack for this 5min trip.
